They has systems of weights and meusurments, witch made them one of the most sophisticated ancienct societies in their time period.
The Indus River Valley civilization fell into a very mysterious decline. Thiis decline started around 1700 BC There is some archaeological evidence, but not as much as other societies. Nobody can yet be certain as to what really happened to them, but there are many theories. Some of the ideas are that there were series of natural disasters like droughts, floods and earthquakes. Others think that the civilization may have over used their resources. They could have also been attacked by other poeple near by such as the Aryan Civilization. By any cause, the cities were abandoned by 1500 BC.
